The Ventzke Media team is looking for an working student frontend developer with good JavaScript programming skills, fresh ideas, and a passion for solving user issues to create a truly outstanding product experience for our clients.
About us
We are Ventzke Media, a creative-tech studio from Berlin. Our international development team includes Frontend and Full Stack engineers. Collaboratively we work together with other development teams worldwide. Our core business consists of the development of digital products, from the corporate website to the e-commerce platform for global players and medium-sized companies. For start-ups we act as lead agency and take over the complete product development as well as the market entry. Our fuel? Passion and the daily urge to get better.

Your qualifications
- No German skills required / English is sufficient
- Ongoing studies in computer sciences, software-engineering or a comparable subject area
- Practical experience in frontend development and JavaScript
- Practical experience with React, Redux, TypeScript or Angular
- Experience of Responsive Design Frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap 4) and HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with versioning systems wit Git, SVN and Precompiler like Sass, Less etc.
- Basic understanding of how a REST API works
- You put a lot of emphasis on code quality
- In your way of working you associate openness and flexibility with a high motivation and a lot of initiative
Your tasks
- Working in a hands-on team to push code several times a week
- Developing React Single Page Applications and Progressive Web Apps
- Development of Components (e.g. React Higher-Order Components) for SPA's
- Collaboration on interesting projects such as e-commerce platforms or 3D configurators
- Communicate with our development teams
